The Mission of IFESS,

is to promote the research, application, and understanding of electrical stimulation as it is utilized in the field of medicine through meetings, tutorials, publications, and the exchange of information.  On this site you will find information on our annual conferences, Membership information, ordering information for our DVDROM Proceedings, as well as Consumer and Provider educational material related to the medical application of electrical stimulation.  We hope you find the information here both informative and pleasing.  If you have any questions or comments we would love to hear from you.

FES Sport Day 2009

The International FES Sport Event 2009 will take place in Glasgow from 19th-20th June.

Aim of this Event
FES Sport is an approach that allows many spinal cord injured persons to exercise and actually do so using their paralysed muscles.  This Event Aims to showcase work so far and help accelerate the movement of this research into practice - ultimately benefiting the health and quality of life of thousands of people with a Spinal Cord Injury around the world.
